Pennsylvania Game Commission Warns Of Deer On The Move
(Mount Pocono, PA) -- This is your yearly reminder to hit the deer. The Pennsylvania Game Commission this week issued its annual warning about deer on the move in the Poconos. The Game Commission says it's mating season, and that means deer will be moving at dusk and dawn. Insurance companies say it's never good to hit a deer, but they say often times hitting a deer is safer than swerving. Trying to swerve around a deer could cause an even worse crash. The Game Commission says drivers will need to be aware of their surroundings for at least another month.
