>State Officials Urge Pennsylvanians To Get Flu Shots
(Mechanicsburg, PA) -- State officials are urging Pennsylvanians to get their flu shots this season. Officials are worried that the state could face a twindemic with the flu and COVID-19 if people don't get their shots, as hospitals are already strained with COVID patients. Last year, fewer people were sick with the flu thanks to masking and social distancing. Officials say most of us weren't exposed to the flu, but they're worried about people being more vulnerable this year because we did not get the immune boost from being exposed and getting sick last year. They urge everyone to get vaccinated from the flu and COVID.
