The Harrisburg Humane Society will host its annual Kitten Shower this Friday (April 25) and Saturday (April 26) from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event aims to educate the public about fostering and bottle-feeding kittens while collecting much-needed supplies. According to their Amazon account, the Humane Society is seeking donations of items such as kitten milk replacement formula (KMR), bottle supplies, heating disks, toys, and canned kitten food.

Aspasia Yeager, the director of operations at the Humane Society of Harrisburg, emphasized the importance of these donations, stating, "The main things we need are KMR, which is like milk replacement formula for young kittens, bottle supplies, things like that, heating disks to keep young kittens warm and cozy, toys, things like that." More information about the event and a wishlist of needed items can be found on the Humane Society's website.

The Kitten Shower provides an opportunity for the community to support the influx of kittens that the shelter cares for each year. Donations can be dropped off at the shelter or sent directly via Amazon or Chewy.
