Freedom 250 Event
A striking new structure rising over Warwick Township in Lancaster County has captured the attention of local residents — and according to reporting from CBS 21, it’s part of a major project tied to the upcoming UFC Freedom 250 event scheduled to take place outside the White House this June.
A Pennsylvania Company Behind the Build
The towering installation, constructed by TAIT, a well‑known production and staging company based in Lititz, features two enormous intersecting arches reaching roughly 90 feet into the air. The base spans about 160 feet on each side, forming a footprint large enough to support a high‑profile televised event.
Township officials confirmed to CBS 21 that the structure is being built on Furnace Hills Pike, not far from the Rock Lititz campus, where TAIT frequently develops large‑scale entertainment infrastructure.
Approved for a National Spotlight
Warwick Township supervisors unanimously approved the project earlier in April. While officials did not comment on the cost, they noted that similar large‑format builds are common in the area due to the region’s strong entertainment‑production industry.
The venue will serve as a key component of the UFC Freedom 250 event — a special outdoor fight card planned for June 14 in Washington, D.C. The event is scheduled to stream on Paramount+ and is being promoted as part of the United States’ 250th‑birthday celebrations.
A High‑Visibility Moment for Local Engineering
TAIT has a long history of designing complex structures for concerts, tours, and global events. This project places the company once again on a national stage, with CBS 21’s reporting highlighting how a Lancaster County firm is helping shape a major broadcast spectacle tied to the White House.
As the June event approaches, the massive crossed‑arch structure continues to draw curiosity — and pride — from residents who recognize the region’s growing influence in world‑class production design.
